Dear Friends,

It’s incredible to think that Altagracia Faith and Justice Works (AFJW) is about to celebrate our 4th Anniversary! Through all of the challenges of the past four years, AFJW has continued to grow and serve our Upper Manhattan Communities in the spirit of Catholic social justice.

Throughout the pandemic, we have organized our young people to be faithful stewards of our community through the Global Thinking, Local Action, Universal Impact (GLU) Youth Service-learning Program and Uptown Cleanup; we have created new initiatives to combat food insecurity in our neighborhood, including establishing a community fridge at the Church of St. Jude; and we have continued to organize our Social Justice Ministries to help our neighbors through these incredibly challenging times.

It is our mission and promise to continue to serve our community and to GROW this work, but we need financial support. As an independent 501(c) 3, grassroots, faith-based organization, AFJW we count on relatively small foundation grants and the generosity of our volunteers and supporters within the community.

That is why we are asking you to join us in the Altagracia Forever campaign. We are asking you to help secure the future of Altagracia Faith and Justice Works by becoming a monthly sustaining contributor to our organization.
