Tiffany Lee, Executive Director
Tiffany brings over 10 years of experience in nonprofit community development and social justice work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in Sociology with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Master’s degree from Clark University, also in Worcester, Massachusetts, in International Development and Social Change. Her graduate coursework included training in Community Organizing, Participatory Development Practices, and Project Management for Social Change and she has been involved in community service and social justice work in the Bronx, NY, Worcester, MA, Cleveland, OH, and El Cercado, Dominican Republic before moving to NYC and working in the community of Northern Manhattan. Prior to her graduate work Tiffany served as Director of Education and Outreach for the international nonprofit organization, International Partners in Mission (IPM) where she organized Immersion and service-learning programs for students in high school, college, as well as for adult groups. She currently resides in Inwood, Northern Manhattan.
John Hallinan, Ignatian Volunteer, GLU Program Coordinator
John currently serves as an Ignatian Volunteer with Altagracia Faith and Justice Works, as a Program Coordinator for the Youth Service-learning Program, “Global Thinking, Local Action, Universal Impact (GLU)” in addition to supporting other programs like “Breaking Bread” and other activities of the Social Justice Ministry teams, like community service days. John holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Education from St. John’s University with permanent certification, NYS Education Department, as a School Psychologist. He served as a School Psychologist for 30 years in Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES and also served as Chief Examiner for the alternative school GED program. After retiring from his 30 year position he went on to serve as a volunteer School Counselor at St. Aloysius School through the Ignatian Volunteer Corps program where he provided counseling support for Pre-K through 8th grade as well as group instruction and staff consultation. He has served on many Boards and volunteer organizations over his career including, the Board of Education in Peekskill School District, and the City of Peekskill Youth Board. An avid runner, he is also presently a Taconic Road Runners Club member, and currently serves on the Board of another local nonprofit, Caring for the Homeless/Hungry of Peekskill, in his hometown.
